August is a very exciting time on the Reserve! With wind sweeping across the countryside, the dense vegetation and grassland is significantly thinned out, exposing a myriad of amazing and wondrous wildlife activity, which would normally go unnoticed or be too difficult to see. An increase in the number of birds of many different kinds making their appearance on the Reserve is also delightful. The winds of change are upon us as Mother Nature prepares for the arrival of spring.
