An added attraction is the accessibility of Nambiti: enjoy the convenience of being able to visit a luxury 5-star game lodge near Pretoria and Johannesburg (3.5 – 4 hours) and Durban (2.5 hours).

Nambiti is situated in a malaria-free zone – so there’s no need for medication. It is also the only reserve in the area that can boast of having the Big 5, along with 40 other game species. Nambiti’s 23,000 acres offers incredible biodiversity, with grasslands, riverine bush, savannah and thornveld. Game viewing, birding, and fishing (for yellowtail) in the river are the main activities at Nambiti, which is also close to the renowned battlefields.

There are ten luxurious game lodges, including three 5-star game lodges, one 4-star game lodge and two magnificent elevated tented camps, with facilities ranging from self-catering to the pampered. Nambiti’s accommodation is fenced in for the maximum safety of younger guests (at Cheetah Ridge, Ndaka Safari Lodge and Springbok Lodge).

“This place is something else… Botany, micro-fauna and macro-fauna. it has everything!”
