With winter upon us, browsing for green juicy leaves becomes more of a challenge. The trees have lost most of their leaves, however some of the upper branches do still have some leaves good for snacking. But how does a kudu that doesn’t have the height advantage of the taller, larger animals such as giraffe, get to them?
Well, this kudu bull seem to have it figured out! With technical precision this fellow hooked the branch with his horns and using the force of his strong thick neck, bent the branch downward…. After a few tries and some classic facial expressions, he broke the branch, enabling him to enjoy a hearty feast.
